Christmas Lights Collection

String lights tend to wrap around the hydraulics in the garbage trucks and the machines at the garbage processing facilities causing damage. To keep non-working Christmas lights from going to the landfill, there is a bin at the Algoma Town Hall where you can dispose of them. The bin will be available through January and then collected for recycling. There is no cost for the disposal of the lights.
