As businesses continue to grapple with the financial challenges posed by COVID-19, the Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation is administrating two loan programs. The Emergency Response Loan Fund (ERL) provides loans in the amounts of $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 with a 3-year amortization, 2% interest, and deferment of principal and interest for six months. Funds can be used for basic business needs including rent/mortgage payments, utility payments, payroll expenses, and pre-existing purchase orders. This program is available to businesses with in the City of Oshkosh or contiguous townships. Contact Tricia Rathermel email@example.com or get information or apply here. The second is the Winnebago County Rapid Recovery Loan Program (RRL) which aims to assist businesses in Winnebago County that are negatively affected by the economic impact of COVID-19 and shares the same parameters as the ERL. The low-interest loan helps keep Winnebago County businesses financially solvent while complying with the enforced restrictions.
