No Overnight Parking on Town Roads

February 21, 2022

This situation is an ongoing problem. There is NO overnight parking on Town roads, cul-du-sacs, and bump outs from midnight to 6:00 am. seven days a week. Most Town roads are narrow and lack street lights. As a result, cars parked along the roads overnight do create a safety concern for motorists and pedestrians. The Town does ask the Sheriff’s Office to patrol overnight and ticket cars parked on the road from midnight to 6:00 am.

    What about cul-de-sacs?
    Thank you!

      Hi Jeff:

Roads include cul-du-sacs. I know residents like to park trailers and extra vehicles on them, as well as those bump outs. This creates a safety concern for drivers and pedestrians because roads, cul-du-sacs and bump outs do not have street lights and are narrow.
      Thank you,
      Rich
