The November 3rd Presidential Election is now in the books. It was an unprecedented turn-out for the Town of Algoma. We want to thank all of the community members who assisted with processing absentee ballots and the poll workers who put in a full day’s work to ensure the election went without any issues. Algoma would like to also thank Gary Lerch, owner of Service Oil. He donated all of the snacks and beverages for the staff and poll works. Last but not least, we want to thank the residents of Algoma for the amazing turnout and the patience that was necessary to get through the long lines to vote.
