Most building and improvement projects require a building permit, including culverts. All permanent and temporary culverts need a permit prior to installation. The Town of Algoma has installed a secure drop box outside of the Town Hall at 15 N. Oakwood Road. Please put all official documents, including absentee ballots, building and culvert permits, correspondence, etc. in the drop box. Staff do check it frequently.
The Town is continuing its summer road repair and maintenance program. Asphalt patching will take place the second through the fourth week of September-weather dependent.
