Unfortunately, parking on Town roads overnight is an ongoing problem. Most residential streets are narrow and curvy and overnight parking is a real safety concern. Now that winter has arrived, county highway trucks have a difficult enough job keeping Town roads clear after snow events. If they have to navigate cars parked on the road, the streets do not get cleared properly, plus it is a safety issue for pedestrians and the truck driver. Parking is NOT ALLOWED on Town roads from midnight to 6:00 a.m. every day of the week. Violators will be ticketed.
