Dogs Running at Large Ordinance

The Town continues to receive complaints about dogs running loose at Jones Park and in the Lakevista Development. Unfortunately, some dog owners feel that the park and private property are there to serve as their personal dog park. The Town, with assistance from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, will be enforcing the Town’s Ordinance 113-4. Running at Large, along with Ordinance 1-2. Those dog owners in violation of the ordinances will be identified and a letter from the Town will be sent to them with this ordinance information. If you want your dog(s) to run, please take it/them to a dog park or a friend or family member’s home in the country.
